These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the Provider. By installing or using Fishing Buddy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) Overview

Fishing Buddy is a mobile application that helps anglers plan trips, view maps and environmental conditions, log catches, and manage gear. Some features rely on third‑party services (e.g., maps, weather, tides) and device sensors (e.g., location/GPS).

2) Eligibility & Account

• You must be 13 years or older (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you must have a parent/guardian's consent.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and device. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3) License to You

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control for personal, non‑commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

4) User Content

• You may create or upload content (e.g., spots, catches, photos, notes). You retain ownership of your content.
• You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely as needed to provide the App's features. If you share content publicly, you also grant other users a license to view that content within the App.
• You are responsible for your content and must have rights to upload it. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful materials.

5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (i) misuse the App; (ii) attempt to access accounts or data without authorization; (iii) reverse engineer or modify the App except as permitted by law; (iv) use automated means to scrape or overload our services; (v) interfere with network operations; (vi) violate others' rights; (vii) circumvent usage limits or access controls.

6) Location & Sensors

Some features require precise location. You can enable/disable location in your device settings. If you disable location, some features may be unavailable or less accurate. We do not continuously track your background location unless we clearly explain and you consent in the future.

7) Third‑Party Services & Links

The App integrates third‑party services, including:

• Supabase (authentication, database, storage),
• Mapbox (maps/imagery),
• OpenWeatherMap, Stormglass, Open‑Meteo/USGS, Solunar.org (weather, tides, environmental data),
• (Optional) analytics/crash reporting providers.

These providers may receive technical data (e.g., IP address, coordinates) to deliver features. Your use of their data is subject to their terms and policies. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of third‑party data.

8) Subscriptions & Purchases (Google Play)

Note: If/when subscriptions are offered, this section applies.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play using your Google account. Prices are shown in your local currency where available.
• Auto‑renewing subscriptions: renew until canceled. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions. Canceling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund past charges.
• Trials/Intro offers: If offered, they convert to paid unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Refunds: Any refunds are handled by Google Play according to their policies and applicable law.
• We may change prices or offerings with prospective effect. We will provide notice in accordance with law and platform rules.

9) Intellectual Property

All app content, code, trademarks, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not use our marks or copy our content except as allowed by these Terms.

10) Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Please review it carefully. Using the App means you consent to the practices described there.

11) Safety Notice

Fishing involves real‑world risks. Environmental data (weather, tides, water levels, solunar predictions) may be delayed or inaccurate. Always verify conditions from official/local sources and use caution. We do not provide professional advice.

12) Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON‑INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF DATA.

13) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE (AND OUR SUPPLIERS) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) €50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSIONS/LIMITS; IN THOSE CASES, ONLY THE LAWFUL LIMITS APPLY.

14) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your unlawful use of the App, your content, or breach of these Terms.

15) Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law/platform rules. Upon termination, licenses granted to you end.

16) Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in‑app notice or an updated date). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. Courts in

will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law grants you additional rights to bring claims in your country of residence.

If required by your local law, you may also have access to alternative dispute resolution bodies. EU/UK consumers may use the EU ODR platform.

18) App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of Google Play is subject to Google's terms and policies.

Region‑Specific Addendum (template)

• EEA/UK consumers: You have statutory rights under local consumer law which are not affected by these Terms. If you purchase digital content/services, you may have a 14‑day right of withdrawal unless you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the right to withdraw. Platform (Google Play) policies may implement these rights.
• California: The App is not directed to children under 13. For privacy rights under the CCPA/CPRA, see our Privacy Policy.

Deletion & Export (How to)

• You can delete specific content in‑app. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us or use the in‑app options where available. We will handle requests consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms (plus any policies referenced, including the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede prior understandings.
